Visited Taos Pueblo which is a fascinating place. This is an actual Native American village where less than a 150 people still reside in actual adobe buildings. The residents rely on tourism as their major source of income selling art, crafts and food. It is a must see while you're in Taos. Also visit the main square in the town of Taos. Here you'll find shops and restaurants in the area. No trip to Taos would be complete without a visit to the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. It's the fifth highest bridge in the U.S. that is over 600 feet above the Rio Grande river. You can actually walk across the bridge and the scenery will take your breathe away.

Stayed at the Old Santa Fe Inn on our recent trip to Santa Fe. We will definitely stay there again. This hotel is only a few blocks from the Plaza and walking around town is easy. The food in Santa Fe was excellent and we tried the Coyote Cafe, The Rooftop Pizzeria and Milagro 139. Milagro 139 has a great happy hour. There was an arts festival going on in the Plaza while we were there and we bought some jewelry from the Native Americans in front of the Plaza of the Governors. If you want to go horseback riding, try Broken Saddle stables and ask for John. He was a great guide and has even been in a couple of movies. He knows the history of the area and he'll definitely make the ride interesting and fun. It was a great trip and we can't wait to go back.
